From "just a thought" to "validated concept", in 5 steps.
Do you have an idea, but are having trouble starting?
You have ideas. Big ones. But every time you try to explain them, they sound... fuzzy. And you have no idea where to actually start.
Same.
For years, I had notebooks full of ideas that never went anywhere. Not because they were bad—but because I didn't have a process to make them real.
When I started teaching design, I realized my students had the exact same struggle. They had brilliant ideas but no clear path from "interesting thought" to "thing I can actually build and sell."
So I created one.
Bringing Ideas to Life is a 3-course series that gives you the frameworks to turn your ideas into real businesses. From Idea to Concept is phase one—getting that idea out of your head in a way that actually makes sense to other people.
This isn't about corporate pitch decks or sounding "professional." It's about making your idea real enough to build, test, and launch.
Who is teaching this?
Hey, I'm Regena.
I help people build businesses that give them the freedom to live authentically—because when you own something, you can say no to projects that drain you and yes to work that actually matters.
I teach Strategic Design at Parsons and I've worked with companies like KPMG and IBM. But honestly? I'm most passionate about helping people like you use design to build businesses on your own terms.
I have a BS in Finance from Carnegie Mellon and an MFA in Products of Design from SVA. But more importantly, I've been where you are—idea-rich and process-poor.
Let's change that.
